Nothing can compare to a really cute love song that hits you right in the gut and stirs your emotions. Everything about it is beautiful from the lyrics to the melodies and harmonies. Here’s 14 of our favorite love songs.

1. Runaway – Against the Current

“So if we ever lose our way again, take my hand we’ll make it back.” Against the Current explains that relationships aren’t easy but if you love that person than you’ll get through it.

2. Paint It Black – Andy Black

“It’s not too late for two lost souls. We’re not the only ones to lose control, but we’re in this together.” Andy Black explains how after a fight with the person you love, you can’t dwell on it and let it effect your relationship. You have to paint it black and start over, let the past be the past, and move forward.

3. Thinking Out Loud – Ed Sheeran

“Well me I fall in love with you every single day.” Ed Sheeran shows that love is infinite in his song Thinking Out Loud. Once the so-called “glory days” are all said and done, he’s still going to love her the same as he did when they were young.

4. Can’t Help Falling In Love – Elvis Presley

“I can’t help falling in love with you.” Elvis explains that there’s no way it can be a bad thing to fall in love if he can’t help it. Some things are just meant to be.

5. Last Night On Earth – Green Day

“You are the moonlight of my life, every night. Giving all my love to you.” Green Day sends the message that, no matter what happens he will always love her and do every thing he can to honor her.

“I am beautiful with you, you make me feel the way I supposed to be.” Halestorm shows that when you’re with that special person, all of your inner demons and insecurities fall away. They make you feel perfect.

7. Not Broken Yet – Juliet Simms

“When everything turns to grey, I still see you.” Juliet Simms explains how even when things get dark and twisted, when you’re barely holding on, it’s not broken yet. You can still fight for it and fix it.

8. Good To You – Marianas Trench

“I’ll hold you up above everyone.” Marianas Trench’s song Good To You  takes a little bit of a different turn on a love song. It’s about two people who love each other but can’t be together and are trying everything they possibly can to be with each other.

9. The Only Exception – Paramore

“And that was the day that I promised, I’d never sing of love if it does not exist. But darling you are the only exception.” Paramore tells how when it seems like there’s no hope love still finds a way to make its way into your life.

10. I’ll Follow You – Shinedown

“I’ll follow you down to where forever lies, without a doubt I’m on your side. There’s nowhere else that I would rather be.” Shinedown says that no matter where she goes, or what she wants to do, he’ll be right by her side supporting her because of how much he loves her.

13. Kiss Me Again – We Are The In Crowd
