Now that Warped Tour is halfway through its final run, fans all across the country have gotten their final fix. But if you are on the back half of the country patiently waiting for your turn, take into consideration the experiences of those that have gone before you. Virginia Beach, Virginia was one date that brought the perfect weather, plenty of pits and many amazing bands. Here are 5 bands not to miss.

5. In Hearts Wake

Playing the “Mutant White Lightning” stage, In Hearts Wake is pop punk gold. Their catchy songs hype the crowd and create the perfect crowd surfing environment. With clean and dirty vocals, this band will not disappoint.

4. Chelsea Grin

Found on the “Mutant Red Dawn” stage, Chelsea Grin’s vocals prevail as some of the best in the metal scene. Although they are not playing a main stage, the crowd will be high energy and relentless. Chelsea Grin is a force to be reckoned with.

3. Falling In Reverse

If you are lucky enough to catch a tour date with Falling In Reverse included, you’re in for a wild show (now with extended tour dates!). With a setlist full of old and new music and a crowd screaming for Ronnie to take his shirt off, you’ll be rockin’ from beginning to end.

2. Sharptooth

Also playing the “Red Dawn” stage, Sharptooth is a badass, politically charged, female fronted group. With songs about feminism and the world we live in today, you won’t want to miss Lauren Kashan’s gritty vocals and messages.

1. We The Kings

Lastly, this headliner brings the party. Throwing the crowd back to their scene middle school days jamming to “Check Yes Juliet”, We The Kings has a nostalgia factor that few other groups can deliver. Playing both old and new music, nothing gets the crowd going like the good old “sorority squat and jump” during “I Feel Alive”.
