By September 9, 2016December 7th, 2016No Comments

Pop radio is something we all enjoy. Whether you openly admit it or not, it’s a guilty pleasure you can’t deny how catchy some of the music is. So there’s nothing better than finding out one of your favorite bands covered a great pop song. Here’s a list of some of the best cover songs you can find!

7. “Ass Back Home” – Secrets

Originally preformed by Gym Class Heroes, Secrets mixes screamo where rap should be in this track giving it a cool unique vibe.

6. “Blame It” – Of Mice & Men

Originally preformed by Jamie Foxx featuring T-Pain, this cover gives the song a fun twist that all metalcore fans will love.

5. “I Knew You Were Trouble” – We Came As Romans

Originally preformed by Taylor Swift, WCAR puts a great rock spin to the song that you’ll love.

4. “Stay The Night” – State Champs

Orginally preformed by Zedd featuring Hayley Williams, it’s incredibly tough to take a song that’s practically all electronic and turn it punk. State Champs did it, and did it flawlessly. The music mixed with Derek DiScanio’s skin chilling vocals makes this cover a masterpiece.

3. “Hands To Myself” – All Time Low

Orginally preformed by Selena Gomez, All Time Low took this song and made it beautiful in the simplest way. One of the reasons why it’s so great is because it is only acoustic, leaving vocalist Alex Gaskarth, to really push his vocals to it’s limits making this one fantastic cover.

2. “Blank Space” – I Prevail

Originally Preformed by Taylor Swift, I Prevail turned the track into a post-hardcore track that was gold. You’ll fall in love with it for sure!

1. “Love The Way You Lie” – A Skylit Drive

Originally preformed By Eminem featuring Rihanna, A Skylit Drive puts a passionate spin to this track. It hits you right in the heart with intense music and powerful vocals.
