Pop-punk band Rationale. released a new track on Aug. 18. The band is made up of Real Friends‘ Dan Lambton and Knuckle Puck‘s Joe Taylor and Ryan Rumchaks. The new track is a demo that follows up their debut EP, Confines.
“We’ve been working on new music alone & together. We wanted to show you how the writing process of rationale. goes, so here is a little insight: We record everything OURSELVES on our laptops with fake drums (bet you didn’t know they were fake!) and then Ryan will play real drums underneath the tracks (he hasn’t for this one yet)” is what both members had to say about the track.
The debut EP, Confines was released on Dec. 9 of 2015. The debut track was “Hangnail.”
Ace Enders of The Early November mixed the EP while John Naclerio at Nada Studios finished it up.
“We started rationale. because we love hanging out and making music with our friends. This is what has come of that so far,” is what the band had to say about Rationale.
