The Foo Fighters are teasing a possible Nirvana reunion with its surviving members for Cal Jam Fest, which is this weekend in San Bernardino, CA. The band tweeted the following tweets below. The first one read: “CAN’T WAIT!!!! What else could we have up our sleeves?? Stay tuned….🤘#CalJam18”. Hours later, they shared another tweet. This time with a video of Nirvana song “Serve the Servants” being played backwards.

Here’s why it all makes sense. Dave Grohl and Pat Smear will be there, because, well, Foo Fighters. Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic will be there to perform with his band Giants in the Trees. Finally, Joan Jett and John McAuley, who performed at Nirvana’s 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction party, will be performing that night with their bands.
