I’m sure you all remember Fyre Festival; the music festival advertised as, “the unparalleled best in music, cuisine, design and hospitality on a private island in the Exumas” that ended in a a ton of major lawsuits. Concert-goers experienced lack of basic necessities such as food and housing, and were essentially stranded on the island.
That was in 2017. Now, the failed festival is getting it’s own documentary through Netflix. Fyre will tell the story of festival attendees, as well as festival organizers to give us all a behind-the-scenes look at this colossal failure.
Fyre will be released on January 19, 2019. Watch the teaser below.
