Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington has been very vocal about negative criticisms of the band’s newer sound. So much so he has told fans to “move the fuck on” from expecting the band to sound like their most popular album Hybrid Theory and that he’d punch whomever in the fucking face if they call LP a sell out.

There is one critic that Bennington isn’t coming hard at though. That’s Slipknot’s Corey Taylor. After Chester’s comments, Taylor publicly said the Linkin Park singer should be fortunate for what he has. Now, in a series of tweets, it looks like CB has taken what Taylor said to heart stating:

Just heard Corey Taylor’s response to something I said in an interview and I agree with him. I do appreciate our fans. I’m human and sometimes take things too personally. Most of our fans have been very positive lately. Some… not so much. Either way… there is a lot of passion on both sides and I am grateful to all of our fans. Corey is a good dude and I appreciate him too. Time to recalibrate my perspective. So I say to all of our fans… Thank you and I love you all. Peace, love and happiness.
