We all get tired of hearing the same pop covers of “Jingle Bell Rock” or “Santa Clause Is Coming To Town” here at APU we came together to bring you a 26-song Happy Holidays playlist of some of our favorite holiday/winter songs. So whether you’re traveling this weekend or just chillin’ with the fam, throw our Happy Holidays playlist on and spread some damn good Christmas cheer.
This list includes some of our favorite bands singing less than cheery Christmas songs. Songs like Fall Out Boy’s “Yule Shoot Your Eye Out” which is a track about wishing someone a very unhappy holiday. Then there’s All Time Low’s “Merry Christmas, Kiss My Ass” which is just over the season completely.
You’ll also find holiday covers like “All I Want For Christmas Is You” by Against The Current and “Frosty The Snowman” by Bowling For Soup, keeping you in the holiday spirit but with a little rock and roll.
No holiday list is complete without “The 12 Days Of Christmas” by Jarrod Alonge. It’s safe to admit that “The 12 Days Of Christmas” is one of the most boring Christmas songs, but with Alonge’s touch, not only is the track sped up, it also makes his “12 Days Of A Pop Punk Christmas” completely relatable. This version is so fun and silly you can’t help but laugh.
You’ll also find winter themed song including “Mr. Winter” keeping you feeling chilly vibes even when the holidays are over.
