With the latest frenzy of rumors regarding Tom DeLonge coming back to Blink-182, Tom DeLonge fans have been invading Matt Skiba’s instagram with the nastiest comments. However, Skiba isn’t going down without a fight, as he’s been defending himself against the trolls. Check out the photos below of Matt’s instagram:
They have been even accusing him of deleting Blink-182 posts and neglecting the band, which isn’t at all true.
First and foremost, It’s never cool to bash a musician for who they are, or if there’s no basis to criticize. If anything, In Skiba’s case, fans should be thanking him. If it weren’t for his position in Blink-182 right now, there wouldn’t be a band. Yes, he’s not Tom DeLonge, but that isn’t in your control.
Skiba loves Blink-182 and what he does. Be happy, be proud, and if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Musicians are humans too, you know.
