In some rather sad news, Michael Danger announced Wednesday that he would be leaving Gas Station Disco. He made the announcement via Instagram (below). While the band has yet to make official comment, it seems they plan on continuing their journey together.
Michael commented that his decision was primarily made to focus on his videography. However, he plans to continue working with the band on music videos as he has previously done with “Roundabout”.
After five years, Michael will surely be missed in the band, but this is just a new chapter in the bands life. Michael’s last day with the band will be July 9th.
After 5 years, I have decided to part ways with Gas Station Disco. We are all on good terms and I will be shooting video for them regularly, but I personally needed more time in my life to focus on videography and spending time with my family. I really appreciate everyone I've met and the things I've seen along the way, it's been the wildest ride. Big thanks to everyone who has been apart of GSD, ya'll have shaped me into who I am as a musician and person. My last weekend in the band is July 7-9 at Put-In-Bay, OH. Hope to see some familiar faces!
