Our Top 10 Sexiest Songs

By August 1, 2017No Comments

Recently at an All-American Rejects show, frontman Tyson Ritter, said that he believes “Rock n’ Roll can still be sexy,” and went on to say that he wanted the crowd to feel sexy before playing one of their newest songs “Sweat.”

Well we heard you Ritter, and it got us thinking. What are our favorite sexiest songs? Here’s our top 10 list of our favorite sexiest songs in music.

10.  “Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off” — Panic! At The Disco

Between that bass-line and those vocal whispers of the words “pick up, pick up” its hard to pick out the hottest part of this song.

Sexiest Line: “I’ve got more wit, a better kiss, a hotter touch, a better fuck, than any boy you’ll ever meet. Sweetie you had me.”

9. “Sex” — The 1975

Cheating is never a good thing, but The 1975 writes it so well. Maybe it’s the way the vocals crack over the word “just” in the line “My shirt looks so good when it’s just hanging off your back,” or the fact that it feels black and white without watching the video. Either way we can’t get enough of it.

Sexiest Line: “Use your hands in my spare time, we’ve got one thing in common it’s this tongue of mine.”

8. “English Girls” — The Maine

The Maine have many lustful songs, “English Girls” is definitely near the top of that list. The entire vibe of the song is sexy which is exactly what we’re looking for.

Sexiest Line: “Pins her against the wall, tells her she’s beautiful,  She says she’s going home.”

7. “Sexy Drug” — Falling In Reverse

Talk about a hair  whipping, lip-syncing good-time. Lip-syncing because none of us can do that ridiculously sexy scream-sing that vocalist, Ronnie Radke can do throughout this song.

Sexiest Line: “Sexy girl I just fell in love, you should try it, it’s a hell of a drug.”

6. “Pour Some Sugar On Me” — Def Leppard

Ok, we’re throwing a classic rock song in here. But big song, big hair does this really require a description?

Sexiest Line: Really, it’s the whole song.

5. “Wow! I Can Get Sexual Too” — Say Anything

Maybe it’s the lack of seriousness of this song that made this song so successful or that iconic phone ring. Whatever it maybe this list would be incomplete without it.

Sexiest Line: “When she described her underwear, I forgot all the rules my rabbi taught me in the old schul.”

4. “Girls/Girls/Boys” — Panic! At The Disco

This might be a repeat artist, but it’s not our fault that P!ATD just writes hot song after hot song.

Sexiest Line: “Yeah if you change your mind, you know where to find me, ’cause I don’t ever wanna be your boyfriend.”

3. “Give Me Anything” — The Maine

Another repeat artist, like we said earlier, The Maine is a band with many lustful songs, this is another that just couldn’t be left off. Every line is subtly sexy.

Sexiest Line: “I’m trying everything to keep my hands off of you.”

2. “Mr. Brightside” — The Killers

There is so much to love about this song, it’s a song that you can relate back to any certain time and it just absorbs that memory. Why it made it’s way onto this list is it’ lyrics are relatable to any sexy situation.

Sexiest Line: “It was only a kiss.”

1. “Sweat” — The All-American Rejects

Of course the inspiration sit up at number 1 on the list. This song has the kind of flirtatious melody that makes you want strut in front a giant fan while your hair blows back. A reminder that rock is still sexy.

Sexist Line: “You’re turning blue the way I make you, sweat.”
