With the holiday season just around the corner, everyone is starting to become jollier and getting into the mood of the “most wonderful time of the year.” But no matter what your holiday traditions are there’s one thing that is universal about them all. Music. Here’s some of your favorite bands with their versions of Christmas songs to get you into the holiday spirit.

This Wild Life – “Sleigh Ride”

“Just hear those sleigh bells jingling, ring-ting-tingling too. Come on, it’s lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you.” Everyone knows the famous song that uses instruments to sound like horses but This Wild Life’s version of Sleigh Ride is a little bit more relaxed yet still can get anyone into the holiday spirit!

The Summer Set – “This Christmas”

“This Christmas will be a very special Christmas for me.” The holiday season is full of love. Whether it be with family or a significant other the holidays are about spending time with the people who mean the most to you. Feel the love in The Summer Set’s version of This Christmas!

All Time Low – “Merry Christmas, Kiss My Ass”

“So I wrote you a song, hope that you sing along, and it goes ‘Merry Christmas.. Kiss my ass!” The complete opposite of a positive Christmas song, but All Time Low’s Merry Christmas, Kiss My Ass is still a fun song to listen to during the holiday season; and it’s also capable of putting a smile on your face during a rough day.

Panic! At The Disco – “White Christmas”

“I’m dreaming of a white Christmas. Just like the ones I used to know.” Brendon Urie channels is beautiful lower range in Panic! At The Disco’s version of White Christmas, that can make anyone wish it was snowing; even if you hate the cold.

Against The Current – “All I Want For Christmas Is You”

“‘Cause I just want you for my own, more than you could ever know. Make my wish come true. Baby all I want for Christmas is you.” Possibly one of the most popular Christmas songs to date. Against The Current put a pop punk twist on a classic pop holiday song in their version of All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey.

Green Day – “Xmas Time Of The Year”

“Tonight friends are what it’s worth, peace and love on Earth, and another year giving thanks again. Somewhere around a plastic manger giving thanks to strangers, Christmas time of the year.” Ok, we know its not a cover, but how can we not include this one? It’s a festive punk anthem from Green Day, capable of turning even the most un-spirited Grinch into a happy who even just for a moment.
