UPDATE: 2/21/19 – It looks like Heart Attack Man’s Eric Egan has decided not to sell his orange beanie after bids for the hat went as high as $97K+. You can see his explanation below.

“I just wanted to update you all on my world famous beanie. I’ve been thinking about it a lot. I changed my mind. I don’t want to sell my beanie anymore. This is a lot of money that I’m walking away from, but you know what? There’s some things in life that you can’t put a price tag on, and my beanie is one of them.”

We’re wondering if this was some setup marketing ploy or not, but hey it makes for a good read.

ORIGINAL POST: Triple Crown Records band Heart Attack Man’s Eric Egan is in need of some money, so he did what anyone would do: sell something. That something he decided to sell is his beloved orange beanie. The beanie is available for purchase on eBay, but it won’t come cheap. At last look, the 155 bids have gone up as high as $97,100. Damn!

He explains: “Hate to have to do this, but I’m strapped for cash so I am selling my orange beanie. Featured in countless photos and videos of mine all over the internet, this is not your average everyday ordinary beanie. The amount of ideas I’ve thought of while wearing this beanie is astronomical. I’ve played many shows in it. This beanie alone has left a remarkable impact on this earth. Should fit most any head size.”

If you have some money to spend and are in need of an orange beanie, you can bid here.
