One thing we all can agree on is Mayday Parade’s A Lesson In Romantics is one of the best pop-punk records made. It set the bar high for other bands in the scene, from the music, to the lyrics, right down to the unforgettable album cover.
Now, Mayday Parade has decided to grace us with a 10-year A Lesson In Romantics anniversary tour. All the while playing the record in it’s entirety. If you just gasped with joy after reading that, don’t worry, we did too.

5. “Miserable At Best”
A ballad with heart wrenching lyrics. Its beautiful and makes you want to cry. Even the video is skin-chillingly good.
4. “When I Get Home You’re So Dead”
The best of Jason Lancaster. His voice is so powerful. Especially when uttering the line that’s so well loved: “Such a simple little whore,” making this one of our favorite tracks.
3. “Jersey”
“Jersey” is catchy and upbeat with a slightly dark feeling to it. When you listen to it, you feel like it relates to you no matter what you’re going through. Also, if you’re lucky enough to hear them play it live, it’s almost impossible to not crowd surf during it.
2. “Jamie All Over”
This was most likely the first MP song you ever heard. It’s got all the works of a great pop-punk song. Easy to jam out to.
1. “You Be The Anchor That Keeps My Feet On The Ground, I’ll Be The Wings That Keep Your Heart In The Clouds”
This is a personal favorite. It’s emotional and powerful. The lyrics tell a story, but you can relate it to yourself.
