5 concert hacks everyone should know about

We all want to go to concerts and enjoy ourselves the best we can. Sometimes little things happen that can frustrate us or put us in a bad mood. Here are a few things to help make your concert experience a little easier.

5. Only bring what you know you’ll need.

As people, we have tendencies to carry around things we may think we’ll need but never actually end up using. It’s always good to be prepared, but when it comes to going to a concert less is more. Only bring the things that are necessary. Typically, these things would be, keys, a phone, an I.D., and money of some sort. Concerts are big, there’s lots of people, so the less you need to keep track the easier your night could be.

4. Dress comfy.

Going to a concert is a night out for some, and that tends to bring on the need to dress up. Is it worth it though? Be comfortable, wear something that you’ll be okay in if you’re going to be standing for hours, or if you’re in close quarters with others. The last thing anyone wants is blisters on their feet, or their shirt to be doing things it shouldn’t.

3. Don’t throw away your water bottle.

Most venues, especially if they’re considered “outdoors”, will have refill stations. So, once you spend $43 on overpriced water, refill it for free, instead of paying for another one. Staying hydrated is very important, and this way you don’t have to take out a loan to do so.

2. Buy your merchandise prior to the show.

Most of us will wait until the show is over to get a shirt or something from the merch stands. At that point, the lines are crazy long, and sometimes they’ll have sold out of what you wanted. If you see something and you know you’re going to want to get it, do it prior to the show, or if you see a point in the night that there’s no line, take the opportunity. This way there’s a higher chance you can get what you want.

1. Screenshot mobile tickets.

Many tickets used now are on the phones, and what comes with phones, connection issues. The worst is when you’re holding up the line because you’re tickets wont load. Before you arrive at the show, screenshot your ticket, this way it’s in your photos. Also, this allows for easy access when it comes time to have the tickets scanned.
