A Story Told returns with new single

By March 19, 2020No Comments

A Story Told is a band from West Virginia that you probably have not heard of yet.

Until now. Get ready to have your mind blown. For fans of Paramore, Blink-182, and The Dangerous Summer, these guys will fit in perfectly into your playlists.

They have released two full-length albums; Good Looks in 2017, and Keep Watch in 2016.

After the drop in 2017 though, the band took a bit of a pause, and pursued other musical passions. Lead singer Alex Chaney and guitarist Josh Allen formed a new group, titled Kids Amen. The statement can be found below:

Basically, the pair found themselves creating music that didn’t quite fit the band’s sound, it looked like the end for A Story Told. However, they concluded the note saying that “There will always be a place for AST [A Story Told].”

Fast forward to the early hours of March 19th, and the band is back releasing their new track, and teasing a new album.

Their new song, titled “Home for the Summer”, serves as their vessel back into the scene, and fans could not be happier. Their sound is truly unique, and difficult to put into words.

You just have to listen for yourself.
