Amazon Music announced, on July 15th, a new program called Breakthrough. This program is meant to be a platform for new, up and coming artists. Breakthrough will provide artists from around the world, and across all genres, will marketing support. Artists will be able to utilize Amazon owned platforms such as Twitch, as well as Amazon Originals. Breakthrough will give artists access to playlists and programing across all Amazon Music channels. A special “Breakthrough” playlist will be featured on Amazon Music to highlight specific artists, and give a platform for their music.
