The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards nominations have been revealed, highlighting a nice selection of some of our scene’s favorite rock and alternative artists. The event is set to take place at the prestigious Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on September 12th, with the winners being announced during the ceremony.
This year’s Best Rock category boasts an exciting lineup, featuring noteworthy tracks such as “The Teacher” by Foo Fighters from their latest album But Here We Are, and a previously unreleased gem titled “Lost” from Linkin Park’s Meteora era. The list also encompasses Måneskin’s soul-stirring song “The Loneliest,” Metallica’s haunting track “Lux Æterna,” Red Hot Chili Peppers’ captivating “Tippa My Tongue,” and Muse’s enigmatic “You Make Me Feel Like It’s Halloween.”
