Calmgrove recently released Light On Your End, an ear catching EP sure to please the ears of pop-punk fans everywhere.
The EP kicks off with “Shade” the track demands attention from the drums while the melody draws you in. Vocals are soft pulling together the edge that steams off of the music.
Leading single “Misery” showcases smooth transitions and the bands ability to produce an organized sound with different elements. “Misery” is a catchy one to remember. The vocals are clean and skin chilling.
“Give and Take” highlights a more relaxed sound. The song carries out a steady melody, with a serene outro, where vocals overlap making for an unforgettable sound.
Following “Give and Take” comes “Burn,” the song exudes a darker presences while the chorus kicks up the tempo hooking new listeners in.
“Sound Asleep” is an instant favorite, vocals whisper softly through paired pleasantly with tapping of cymbals and slight guitars giving listeners intimidate goosebumps. The track carries out this refreshing sound making it stand out among the other tracks on this EP.
