Cassadee Pope, the GRAMMY-nominated and Platinum-certified singer-songwriter, has released a new pop rock single titled “People That I Love Leave.” The song, which is co-written by Cassadee herself along with Ali Tamposi, Roman Campolo, Nick Long, and Andrew Luce, is produced by Cassadee, Dan Swank, Mason Sacks, Hosu Yoon, and Luce. It features emotionally charged lyrics about being afraid of fully letting love in after experiencing heartbreak. The high-energy track is now available on all major streaming platforms, and listeners can pre-save it on Cassadee’s website.

Cassadee shares that “People That I Love Leave” is a return to her roots, as she began her career as the frontwoman of the pop-punk band Hey Monday. She explains, “Pop and rock music is such a staple in my creativity, so to fully return back to that genre feels special and like coming back home.” The song represents a new chapter in her musical journey and showcases her authenticity in a way she has never been able to tap into before.

Regarding the song’s upbeat tone, Cassadee says, “I love jumping around on stage and always have since Hey Monday. This song gives people a pretty clear picture of where I’m headed sonically and energetically.” “People That I Love Leave” is a testament to Cassadee’s versatility and shows that she continues to pave her own path in the industry.
