The full Warped Tour 2017 lineup was released this past Wednesday (3/22). Some were thrilled, and according to a lot of social media posts, it seemed like more were unimpressed. However, with hype of the 2017 lineup announcement, we’ve decided to reminisce on our past favorite lineups. Here are our picks for the top 5 best Warped Tour lineups.
5. Vans Warped Tour 2016
Many complained that there wasn’t enough hardcore bands on this lineup, be that as it might, there was nothing like seeing Sum 41 hit the main stage at Warped again. There were also a number of great pop-punk bands on the bill which made it difficult for a lot of us to see all of them. Check out the fan footage below.
4. Vans Warped Tour 2013
Warped Tour 2013 brought us quite the combination of bands. From Blessthefall and Silverstein to The Wonder Years and Motion City Soundtrack, this lineup kept most fans very satisfied on their “Best Day Ever.”
3. Vans Warped Tour 2012
How can it get better than having Taking Back Sunday, All Time Low and New Found Glory all in the same place? Oh, and we can’t forget, Mayday Parade, Motionless In White and Pierce the Veil! This was a well rounded lineup and definitely one to remember.
2. Vans Warped Tour 2000
Can you imagine seeing Green Day and NOFX on Warped Tour today? Sounds amazing, right? I’m sure we can all agree it’d be crazy—maybe a little too crazy—today. This tour also featured No Doubt, Lit, Weezer, MxPx and Flogging Molly on select dates! But hey, that’s why we’ve got this lineup in the number two spot on our list.
1. Vans Warped Tour 1996
How about that graphic? As old school as it gets, Warped Tour 1996 featured Blink-182. Blink-182! Pennywise, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, 311, Unwritten Law, Lagwagon, NOFX, Deftones and Limp Bizkit all made appearances as well! Whoa.
