Dallas-based metal band, Frost Koffin, have released a new single and music video for “Misery Rd.

On the track, the band shares, “Misery Rd. is about us pushing through rough times. You have to be willing to struggle at times to accomplish something great.”

Frost Koffin is the product of a collective love for the classic, heavy and gritty sound that contrived modern metal. Eluding the clichés and tropes of metalcore, Frost Koffin channels the groove and aggression from a past era in an attempt to resurrect a writing style is forever revered. Metallica, Pantera, Black Sabbath, Megadeth – musicians like these are who Frost Koffin grew up learning from, and are the bands that have inspired them to dedicate themselves to music.

Writing tight, acerbic guitarwork, coupling a vintage flair for powerful riffs and a touch of Texas country blues, these Southern musicians are creating an equally unique, and reminiscent, sound of which had been seemingly lost in time. Frost Koffin released their self-titled mini album in 2018 and were quick to grab attention, touring with As I Lay Dying, I Am, Norma Jean, Phineas, Currents, He Is Legend, Alien Weaponry, and White Chapel. After spending the winter of 2018 with Josh Schroeder (King 810, Varials, The Color Morale, In Hearts Wake) Frost Koffin recorded a full-length album of compelling, powerful and diverse songs.
