Google announces new feature where you can now hum, whistle, or sing a tune too

By October 18, 2020No Comments

Ever have those days where you have a song stuck in your head and you have no idea who the artist is – or even the song title? Now you’ll be able to be able to find the title and artist of the song stuck in your head all day- thanks to Google.

Google has announced a feature for mobiles named ‘Hum To Search’. Hum to Search lets you hum, sing or whistle a melody to track down a song.

This new feature is just one of many updates announced by Google this week. Hum to search feature currently available in 20 languages and results will include artist name, album art, and a percentage match for your vocal efforts.

Hum To Search will also work with Google’s Assistant, booting up when you say, “Hey Google, what’s this song?”
