By September 9, 2019No Comments

After a series of posts surfaced over the weekend, it appears that Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Weezer will be touring together in 2020. Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong posted a video wearing a shirt with Fall Out Boy and Weezer’s logos on it, along with the words “Hella Mega”. In the video, he sings a rendition of the band’s signature songs “Wake Me Up When September Ends”, changing the lyrics to “Wake Me Up on September 10th”.

He also commented on an Instagram post by actor Rainn Wilson tagging Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo and Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz with the words “Hella Mega” on Saturday.

Fans also anonymously received merch with mismatched photos and names of the band.

One fan was handed a flyer outside a concert venue in Philapehia with the logos of the three bands and “Hella Mega” advertised at the top.

Fans also uncovered a password-protected website and along with social media profiles on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for “Hella Mega”, along with a date in Paris surfacing on Facebook. “Hella Mega”, as suggested by Armstrong, is set to be announced tomorrow.
