Halflives release reimagined version of “Fugitive”

By August 21, 2020No Comments

European alt-rock band Halflives have released a reimagined version of their song “Fugitive” in an indie-pop style with orchestral elements. Heartfelt and cinematic, this track is a perfect fit for all moody/sad, chill, and evening-vibe playlists.

Bringing an intense feel to what’s been an unusual summer, to say the least, “Fugitive (Reimagined)” is inspired by TV and film, which singer/songwriter Linda Battilani is a great fan of.

Commenting on the idea behind the track, Halflives vocalist Linda Battilani says:

“I had a lot of time on my hands during lockdown, both to think and find new sources of inspiration. I’ve been watching a lot of movies and TV shows and found myself inspired by some of those stories that resonated with me, and by the indie and orchestral music that was a big part of the soundtrack of what I’ve been watching. I’ve been writing a lot of material for new music, but I also felt like revisiting an old favorite from our back catalogue and give it a new interpretation.”
