The dog days of Blink-182’s hiatus were gruesome. Fans were left with the separation between Tom DeLonge and Mark Hoppus, having to get used to their separate bands, Angels and Airwaves and +44. Both bands somewhat brought Blink-182 fans to some solice, but nothing was the same.
However, in the midst of their hiatus, the fan-base of the band decided to take manners into their own hands. A nameless group of individuals created a 39 song remix album, which was a stirred up pot with ingredients from Blink-182, Boxcar Racer, Angels and Airwaves, and +44.
The collection of songs was named Do It For The Kids. It was well put together, mixing songs that you wouldn’t think of mixing. Each song is unique in it’s own way, moving lyrics from one song to another and replacing riffs that sound oddly amazing when put into certain areas.
Come listen for yourself, I’m sure you’ll love it!
