Hollywood Undead drops new single & announces new record ‘Hotel Kalifornia’

By June 12, 2022No Comments

Hollywood Undead just announced their latest record Hotel Kalifornia will be released on August 12th via BMG. The band’s 8th studio album represents “a juxtaposition between the ‘haves’ and the ‘have-nots’, highlighting the ongoing homelessness and cost of living crisis that is affecting the band’s home state of California.”

While you anxiously wait for the record, check out Hollywood Undead’s latest single “City Of The Dead” above.

Johnny 3 Tears shares: “’City Of The Dead’ is about the dichotomy of Los Angeles where you can accomplish your dreams but also live your nightmare.” This track aligns closely with the themes of their other singles, emphasizing the message of Hotel Kalifornia. No matter where you are in the country or world, homelessness and inflation are at an all-time high. I have a feeling this record will hit home for so many millennials feeling crushed by the economy.

About Hollywood Undead

In the early 2000s, a group of friends bonded around a common vision bred in the back alleys of Hollywood, CA. Under the influence of a variety of things, including gritty hip-hop, industrial metal, and lots of booze, they managed to overcome their hardships to become the face of 21st century rock music.

Hollywood Undead thrives on the bond of five individuals who turn their raw experiences into relatable anthems. Hotel Kalifornia will be the best presentation of their story yet.
