First off,  I wanted to congratulate you on signing with Thriller Records and on your new single “Ride”.  How are you feeling post release?

Thank you so much! We’ve been feeling good and been keeping busy. “Ride” is about being committed to something despite the bumps along the way so it felt very right to celebrate the announcement of our signing with it’s release!

Where was your inspiration for the song and what is your favorite line/lyrics from the song?

The true and honest answer to this is pretty funny. I wrote it so that when we are a bigger band one day, and playing to larger crowds, I have a song that I can perform while simultaneously riding a boogie board on the crowd with. I wanted to “ride” literally.

Outside of that, I was going through a bit of a rough patch musically, and was somehow trying to convince myself it would all be worth it eventually.

Who would you say is your biggest musical inspiration and why?

That is so tough because it really ranges. Lately I’ve been listening to a lot of The Maine’s new music, The Band Camino, and I’m obsessed with AshNikko. I know Donovan has been jamming a lot of Hiatus Kaiyote, Anderson Paak, and Blu DeTiger. There’s a lot going on to say the least.

If you could do a collaboration with anyone who would it be?
We’d love to collaborate with The Home Team and and I (Devin) would love to sing clean vocals on a heavier band’s song at some point.
If you could go on tour with anyone, who would it be?
It would be sick to eventually manifest the chance to tour with bands I’ve seen live a bunch like Waterparks, State Champs, The Maine, and You Me At Six. It’s fun watching hopes that you want really badly come true. I think putting them in writing helps!!!
What can we expect in the future from you?
You can expect lots of new music! We are sitting on a really solid batch of songs right now. I can’t promise when they release or how many of them will come out . Either way, we are very excited to start putting more music out and playing it in some new places soon!
Is there anything else that you would like your fans to know?
We love talking to you guys! We have a Honey Revenge discord, mailing list, and text line all of which you can find details for on our socials!
