Ionnalee / Allie X show review

The indie/alternative field of music has a wide range of artists unknown to many. This week, I was able to widen my taste, and experience a show like none that I have seen before.

Ionnalee and Allie X performed at the Bottom Lounge Chicago April 28th, and both their performances were truly eye opening to me.

Allie X performed first. Allie X is an indie pop Canadian singer with an eccentric vibe and a distinct style. She is unapologetic about who she is as an artist, and had so many fans supporting her performance. With her upbeat sound and intense lyrics, her energy was not overlooked.

Ionnalee headlined, and put on such an amazing and unique performance. This show consisted of graphic lights, a metallic style, and beats that vibrated through your body. The performance gave you a variety of intense visuals, and the crowd connected with every step she took. the Remember The Future tour really did give you that futuristic vibe you long for, and was a show so distinctive that I will be thinking about it for days to come.
