New UK rockers Kill The Ideal have released their brand new single “TEN”, alongside the announcement of their highly anticipated EP Against The World. The upcoming EP will be released on 11th December and will also feature a ground-breaking cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song” and release day single, “Save The World” which features Philip Strand of Normandie.
Singer Ashley Wilson says, “As a band we went through hell to create the single TEN. It absolutely defines everything Kill The Ideal stand for. There was a point when we thought this record would never happen!”
The band pushed all the boundaries to create one of the most honest and personal records of the century and it couldn’t come at a better time.
“Lyrically this record is completely honest. It’s brutal but satisfying all at the same time. We understand that music is more important than ever right now and we hope this record sheds light on what’s a truly uncertain time”, adds Wilson.
The band have been turning heads and causing waves throughout the rock scene with their bold and unique style. They recently reached top 10 in the iTunes rock chart with their latest single “Let’s Get Excited”, with 100% of the proceeds donated to the UK’s National Health Service.
Kill The Ideal have previously shared the stage with Black Peaks, Arcane Roots, Holding Absence, Yonaka and many more. After gaining over 150,000 streams from the last two singles, Kill The Ideal were added to official playlists on Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer. Pre-Covid the band sold out two release shows (both to be played when safe to do so) and were also announced to play Ibiza’s Hard Rock Hell festival alongside Skindred and Reef.
