Los Angeles- based artist, L E A, has released her sophomore EP, Happy Never Ending February 24th.
Happy Never Ending features some favorites from the alternative scene from the 2000s to today. Features include indie pop-punk artists Bemo Rogue and the frontman of Sleep with Sirens Kellin Quinn.
L E A when talking about the EP stated the following:
“This project dives head first into the pop punk genre and explores themes like financial trouble and fear of not making it as an independent artist (FTS), realizing and recognizing my true feelings (F U LOL/I Guess I Like You Anyway), and the past and present experiences of a neverending situationship (Like Yesterday/Happy Never Ending).”

L E A came to impress with Happily Never Ending
Any time you listen to L E A you know she is going to give it her all, and you can tell and see her passion throughout the EP. You can easily find your self dancing around while listening.
“F U LOL” starts the EP off with a bang and gives the vibe for the whole album. For anyone who has gone through any sort of heartbreak or ever been hurt by someone…. This is the song for you to tell someone to “Fuck Off!”
Lyrically this song is easy to relate too with my favorite lyrics being:
“I don’t wanna call you
I want you to call me So I can say fuck you”
Second song is “I Guess I Like You Anyway” and I gotta say, I have never related to a song so much in my life, Hello, Little Miss Over-thinker over here. I loved the lyrics:
“Are you into me?
It kinda seemed like you were maybe last week
But I fuck it up when I say too much
I know I think about it just a little too much”
The EP ends with “Happy Never Ending” featuring Kellin Quinn, and I have to say this song ends this full EP on such a wonderful note and this song easily became my favorite song. Between the catchy beat to the lyrics being so relatable to life currently, this song has been on repeat since I heard it! My favorite lyrics of the song are:
“I can’t even find the words to say
What the hell have you been doing babe
Wasting hours on the phone
Then acting like your happier all Alone
Happy Never Ending”
