Water brand ‘Liquid Death’ drops metal album featuring real hate reviews as lyrics

By May 1, 2020No Comments

Liquid Death prides itself on being a bit different than any other water or brand out there to say the least. In fact, they call themselves a “completely unnecessary approach to bottled water”. Now, they’ve done another completely unnecessary thing, but it’s also kind of a vibe.

The brand has officially dropped a metal album, bringing their hardcore image one step closer to being complete. Unlike other albums, the lyrics of every song are actually just hate comments and reviews about the brand reworked to a heavy metal tempo and sound.

The worst part is it sort of works. Musically, it’s genuinely a good album. That’s probably because the music and production was created by a powerhouse team including Gus Rios, Matt Laplant, Seth Ringler, Torin Ridgeway, and Jim Malone.

We can’t be that surprised. After all, this is the company that you sell your soul to in exchange for a 12-pack of water.

Did you know that Liquid Death is also aiding with COVID-19 relief for bands? Now you do.
