Chicago-based rockers Long Gone dropped their latest single “Wear Me Out” last week. Check it out right here on All Punked Up!
The band aims to recreate the nostalgic feelings of rolled-down windows on a bright summer day. Anthemic melodies, hard-hitting drums, and layers of catchy guitar hooks help the band put a modern twist on classic pop-punk.
Seth Henderson produced “Wear Me Out” at the Always Be Genius Studio (Knuckle Puck, Broadside, State Champs). The track’s angst and aggression emphasizes the liberation that comes with being released from dead-weight relationships. A slow building intro with sultry guitar and emotional vocals lead to the song’s explosion of heavy hitting drums and sing-along choruses that are sure to open mosh pits in any venue.
We had an opportunity to sit down with Trevor, the guitarist, to talk about the band’s latest music, biggest inspirations, and much more. Click here to check out our interview!
