blink-182’s Mark Hoppus after learning about a Straight Pride event that will be taking place this summer in a Boston, has plans to auction off one of his bass guitars for an LGBTQ charity, Trevor’s Project.
Hoppus said on Twitter:
“To celebrate how utterly ridiculous a Straight Pride parade is, I’m going to auction off one of my basses, match the final bid dollar-for-dollar, and donate all the money to the @TrevorProject. ?️?”

June 6th, Hoppus announced that he will be auction off his bass named Groundskeeper Willie, but further information in the bidding hasn’t been made yet.
