The pop-rockers from Cleveland, Ohio , Morning In May, shares a new powerhouse single and new music video for, “Table Etiquette” on May 5. “Table Etiquette” has been produced by Matt Malpass (Blink-182, Machine Gun Kelly, Dance Gavin Dance,) and highlights Morning In May’s addictive sound.
When talking about the single Morning in May said:
“We wanted to write a song that made you feel good with an edge. We’ve always been an attitude band and this song didn’t fall short. We wanted a song that said “Hey, you’re in our area, the land you walk on, the air you breathe, anything you touch, that’s all ours. You’re only here because I’m allowing it.” That reflects the mindset of the band.”
“Table Etiquette” Review
Morning in May never disappoints with their music. The band does a wonderful job blending together rock sounds with catch pop-like melodies. “Table Etiquette” is a song you can listen to when you want a feel good sound, but with very edgy lyrics. This song is one fans can easily relate to when the song talks about you allowing someone in your life, not because you need them!
The lines from the song I fell in love with are:
“And I’m all kinds of down just to run you out of town
Know you’re worthless to me now
Shedding dead weight by the pound”
I can’t want to see more from Morning In May in the future. I believe these boys are one we will want to watch as they will go far.
