My Chemical Romance release a teaser… but for what?

By December 8, 2020No Comments

My Chemical Romance makes their return to Twitter! The tweet they released was an eye opener for many – quite literally.

MCR Twitter blew up. What is this video? New music? Beginning of a new era? But Twitter never seems to disappoint with solving an otherwise ominous message.

It started on December 7th when a cosmetic company called HipDot released a video. They said the music accompanying the visual was a hint. It was a My Chemical Romance song, and that video now lies on the band’s twitter as of December 8th. Twitter users did not have a hard time finding the original video, which led many to the cosmetic company’s website. This led many users to scrounge around the site to see what they could find. Searched keywords varied from ‘The Black Parade’ to ‘My Chemical Romance’, and what landed the biggest hint of all was searching ‘MCR’.

What you see above is an otherwise blank page with items that are not yet listed. We have the names of potential products, and nothing more yet! This blank page has since been removed by the website, but Twitter users found it with ease before this happened!

As it seems right now, MCR is collaborating with HipDot to create a makeup product line. Who knows though? The actual announcement might surprise us, and could include more exciting things My Chemical Romance has on the way. We are all hoping to get this announcement sooner than later. Be sure to follow the band on Twitter and Instagram and the cosmetic company HipDot as well in case of more announcements!
