After over 20 years of being an incredible rock band with ten studio albums, one live album, two EPs, and four cover albums, New Found Glory continues to create relatable, honest, and inspirational pop-punk. Their latest album Forever + Ever x Infinity drops on June 19th via Hopeless Records. The record highlights every phase of New Found Glory’s sound, as well as invites new and modern punk patterns to the mix.
Guitarist Chad Gilbert shares that “This is the record our fans have been waiting for us to make. The old now feels new and fresh. It was a blast finding ourselves again.”

New Found Glory showcases their pop-punk roots in what will be the most iconic New Found Glory album ever.
While the band only released a handful of songs as singles, all 15 tracks are single-worthy. New Found Glory pulls from the whole punk spectrum, including throwback sounding pop-punk songs like “Stay Awhile,” lighter songs like “More and More,” and heavier songs like “Himalaya.”
This record is exactly what the world needed right now.
Forever + Ever x Infinity opens with the banger “Shook By Your Shaved Head” which features a heavy intro riff softened by Jordan Pundik’s notable voice. This moves into “Greatest Of All Time” which is my personal favorite. The way it opens with the quick classic punk drum beat and powerful lyrics gets me on my feet. I see myself holding onto the barricade singing, dancing, and jumping all around to this song at a New Found Glory show.
The title “Double Chin For The Win” made me crack up before even listening to the track. The guitar riff is very happy-punk and the lyrics are about putting himself down as not the best option for the girl he likes. I guess guys who have double chins can win! Woohoo!
Each track on the record brings out classic New Found Glory, but also have their own little added flares.
Whether it be a splash of alternative, heavy rock, old-school punk, or new pop-punk, each track is different enough to be enjoyed on their own and similar enough to create this cohesive record.
“Do You Want To Settle Down” just feels SO good. The song’s theme of settling down is something I personally identify with as a woman in her 20s teetering between being young and fun and starting a real “adult” life with someone. This track’s chorus is that dance-all-around pop-punk feel and I am HERE for it. The bridge gets a little grittier and makes me want to head-bang my heart out!
“The Way You Deserve” brings those early 2000s pop-punk vibes completely. There are a few more modern-sounding lines, especially in the bridge. For the most part, the song is straight out of the early 2000s in the best way possible. Thank you, NFG, for the nostalgia mixed in with your fresh, new sound.
The intro drums in “Trophy” will be opening many mosh pits when live shows return and “Scarier Than Jason Vorhees At A Campfire” brings modern pop-punk riffs with old-school funny pop-punk lyrics.
The record closes with “Slipping Away” which is probably the best closing track to such an epic album. It’s softer than most songs on the record and is the longest track (5:14). “Slipping Away” feels cinematic—its as if I just watched one of my favorite movies and this is the closing scene.
When you listen to the album, you have to listen to it in order and make sure this track is the last one that plays: it makes the entire record.
Most importantly, Forever + Ever x Infinity feels like the friend you’ve always needed.
New Found Glory continues to inspire people to overcome their fears, lift each other up, and get up when they are knocked down. Words cannot even explain how incredible this album is. The riffs, the beats, the lyrics, the dynamic changes from pop-punk to heavy rock to light punk—it is all seamless. If you weren’t a New Found Glory fan before, you are now. This record makes it very clear that the band has been successfully creating and shaping the pop-punk genre for over two decades.
