Summertime is just beginning for a lot of us, and what that means is having to find new music to listen to while you enjoy your time in the sun. So much amazing punk/alternative/indie music is out there, and here you can find my top 5 summer songs released so far in 2019.
1. “Pleasures” – Seaway
This song has the perfect sound and feeling for nice weather. Put this song on with a nice cold lemonade, and let the pop-punk tone take you away
2. “Fuck” – Oliver Tree
Need I say more? This song has a total “fuck everything” vibe, and that’s honestly what summer is all about.
3. “Echos” – John Floreani
With such a fresh and new direction from his band Trophy Eyes, Floreani’s solo work is something you’re going to want to listen to on repeat.
4. “Choke (Acoustic)” – I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME:
This acoustic song is a chill twist to IDK HOWS iconic song Choke that we all love.
5. “Cool” Jonas Brothers
They’re BACK and their new single sounds just like summer, even having a fun summer setting right in the music video.
