After two years in the making, The Hella Mega Tour has finally arrived. Lucky for the people of Chicago, the tour hit Wrigley Field on Sunday August 15th. With openers The Interrupters followed by Weezer, Fall Out Boy, and closing the night with Green Day, this show was definitely worth the wait.
With just glances around the stadium, the excitement of everyone attending was unmistakable. The energy was high throughout every set, and you could feel the space illuminated with love, happiness, and shared interests.
I feel extremely lucky to have been behind the lens on this amazing night for music. The wait for this tour was absolutely worth it, and I hope everyone who has anticipated it for so long gets to feel nothing but happiness as live music finally returns. Check out the photo series below from this show at Wrigley Field! Don’t forget to check out the remaining dates on this tour to see if a show is coming to you!
