Today, Point North dropped their latest single “A Million Pieces” with a powerful visual on YouTube. You can watch it right here on All Punked Up!
Point North has been making strides in the alternative scene for quite some time. In January, Point North released a single titled “Into The Dark” featuring Kellin Quinn of Sleeping with Sirens, which has racked up over two million plays on Spotify. The band consists of Jon Lundin, Andy Hershey, and Sage Weeber.
Frontman Jon Lundin spoke about his songwriting process in a recent press release:
“A lot of times when I write lyrics it’s like I’m talking to myself. A million pieces is pretty much me talking myself down and letting myself know that I have to pick myself up. It’s about forgiving myself for my guilty conscience and reassuring that everything is going to be ok. The verses are basically my vulnerabilities and insecurities and when the chorus hits it’s the voice I need to hear to get me through whatever it is I’m going through.”
