Red Hot Chili Peppers announced yesterday that John Frusciante has returned to the group after ten years apart. He is replacing Josh Klinghoffer, the band’s lead guitarist for the last decade.
Frusciante was the lead guitarist for Red Hot Chili Peppers from 1988-1992 and 1998-2009. The group has shared their excitement about him rejoining the group on social media.
Not only is the band happy, but fans are pumped for Frusciante’s return as well.
A Reboot for 2020 I can actually get behind. Thank you for the last decade #JoshKlinghoffer. Welcome back #JohnFrusciante! @chillipipers 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 pic.twitter.com/Gvx6UAnIvf
