REVISTED: One band’s wild and crazy journey to get signed by Drive-Thru Records

By December 13, 2021No Comments

This week sees an old episode revisited. After Tyler’s Internet was out this week and it prevented him and Bailey from recording a new episode, they thought that after a reference to a past episode was brought up by our prior episode’s guest, Tom Keiger of Houston Calls, they thought it would be a good idea to just go ahead and re-release that one for anyone else who might be interested. Tom brought up the earlier episode where Bailey interviewed Tyler and his old bandmates about the time they headed out to L.A. to meet with Drive-Thru Records.

The gist of the story is: Tyler’s old band Yeti 242 thought they were going out to L.A. to get signed to Drive-Thru Records, but the events that took place on that trip really wound up outweighing what would be a big gut punch at the end of the trip.

This is a condensed version of the original episode. So if you want more of the backstory of how Tyler’s old band formed, feel free to head back and listen to the original episode (number 22). But to recap, Bailey interviews my Tyler’s bandmates Alex Haycraft who was the guitar player, John Pearman who was the bass player and Tyler himself who was the guitar player and lead vocalist.
