Seaway’s new album truly is a BIG Vibe!

I had about a million and one thoughts spiraling through my mind when I listened to this album all the way through. “Big Vibe” truly gives you everything you would want out of a new Seaway record. You get that classic Seaway ‘vibe’ if I say so myself. You hear the classic pop punk / alternative rock sound, but with that original twist that Seaway offers as a band. You hear so many additional aspects musically within these news songs. The most notable for me would probably be the vocal experimentation. You hear new ranges and challenges, and it’s just amazing to see a band experimenting and creating new things.

This album is a mix of so many emotions and topics. You get that fun, loving, upbeat feeling that really is predominant throughout and made present in songs like “Big Vibe.” Not only this, but you get some inklings of reality and genuine hard feelings. You hear about troubled relationships, trying to work things out, and self doubt that present in songs like “Pathetic” and “Peach”.

Each track fills you with anticipation for the next!

These songs had their own unique twists and spins on them, and each track fills you with anticipation for the next. “Still Blue” is one of my favorite tracks. I think the band hit the nail on the head, releasing this one as a single. It’s so exciting, catchy, and unique. It gives a great taste of Seaway, who they are, and what they have been experimenting on musically. It also says “Hey, we are releasing a GREAT new album, and this is just the beginning”. It definitely upped the anticipation and created excitement to hear “Big Vibe” all the way through.
