Tonight will be the night that we will fall for Secondhand Serenade, again.
Check out their latest single “Not Enough” below:
In 2014, the emo-pop band took a break from the music industry after the release of their album Undefeated. Then, in 2017, the band remastered their debut album Awake for its tenth anniversary. The remastered album gained some attention, but fans were ready for new music. The single “Lost” came out a few months later and re-sparked a fanbase for Secondhand Serenade.
In 2019, Secondhand Serenade has released three singles, with the latest being “Not Enough” on August 16th. At the start of the year, the band released “Find Somebody Else.” The song follows the typical emo-pop sound fans are used to. On the other hand, “Edge of a Riot” branches out of the band’s typical sound. The song caters more to the mainstream pop scene with electronic beats and sound effects to fill the chorus. “Not Enough” seems to be the song that tries to find the balance between pop and emo. It has a catchy pop beat with the emotional lyrics and slow guitar rhythms that Secondhand Serenade is known for.
The band has also dropped some hints to fans on social media about an upcoming tour.
The band has not announced anything yet, but fans should keep their eyes peeled for more exciting news. Follow the band’s Instagram to stay up-to-date on new music!
