Stain the Canvas drop new single “All These Lights are Graves”

By July 8, 2022No Comments

Milan-based post-hardcore band, Stain the Canvas, released their new furious single “All These Lights are Graves” via InVogue Records July 8, 2022. The new single not only displays the band’s talent of spacious gleam but also hones in on their many theatrical talents.

All These Lights are Graves” uncovers a beautiful vulnerable melody that works in contrast to the  emphasized roaring vocals. Stain the Canvas incorporates pop-like dark tones that helps submerge fans and new listeners into a world of mystery. The track is also accompanied by a sleek visual that also helps show case the band’s talent in embracing dramatic flares.

Guitarist Lorenzo Accattoli talking about the new track said, “”All These Lights Are Graves” is a reflection about the dichotomy that exists in hope. While we can consider it the fuel which allows us to keep going and do things, aim high, in parallel, hope can also lead us through a relentless wave of let-down, in case we don’t get what we hoped to achieve. This is something that a hopeless person would not experience since he has no hope indeed. But we never think things could go bad, we just want to keep pursuing what we love, so the song wants to make a consideration about the other side of the coin of having hope. It IS a good thing for sure, but it’s not just that.”
