Sum 41’s Dave Baksh talks up upcoming double album & if ‘All Killer’ was a great album or not—exclusive

By April 11, 2022No Comments

After a two week break, Bailey and Tyler are back! This week they bring you Tyler’s conversation with Sum 41’s Dave Baksh. Dave will, without a doubt, go down as one of the most legendary guitarists the scene has ever had. The conversation starts off with young Dave and the beginnings of Sum 41 and what it was like when “Fat Lip” launched the band into icon status. Tyler then asks Dave whether or not he agrees with frontman Deryck Whibley’s comments about the band’s most popular album, All Killer No Filler, not being a great album.

Before talking about the band’s upcoming brand new double album which will see a pop punk AND metal side, Tyler asks Dave about his decision to leave the band back in 2005. They also talk about how the band is currently gearing up to co-headline The Blame Canada Tour with Simple Plan. Then, Dave reveals a special “signature” something.
