Taylor Swift collaborates with Paramore and Fall Out Boy on re-release of ‘Speak Now’ album

By June 9, 2023No Comments

Taylor Swift has announced the re-release of her 2010 album entitled Speak Now. This re-recorded music collection will contain tracks originally meant for the album, including the never-before-heard songs “Electric Touch” featuring Fall Out Boy and “Castles Crumbling” with Paramore’s Hayley Williams. The album is scheduled for release on July 7th.

Swift expressed her excitement via Twitter by thanking the artists who influenced her most as a lyricist. She decided to collaborate with these artists to sing on her new version of Speak Now.

“I’m VERY excited to show you the back cover of Speak Now (my version) including the vault tracks and collaborations with Hayley Williams and Fall Out Boy”, Swift explains. She goes on to say, “Since Speak Now was all about my songwriting, I decided to go to the artists who I feel influenced me most powerfully as a lyricist at that time and ask them to sing on the album. They’re so cool and generous for agreeing to support my version of Speak Now. I recorded this album when I was 32 (and still growing up, now) and can’t wait to unveil it all to you.”

Although this may come as a surprise to most, both bands have a history of working with Taylor Swift. Recently, Paramore supported her on a few dates of her Eras stadium tour in the US. Furthermore, back in 2013, Fall Out Boy appeared on stage with Taylor to perform “My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark” at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show which you can watch below.
