Bert McCracken, the frontman of The Used, announced a partnership with Five Star Extracts to create an exclusive line of cannabis products. McCracken shares that he is “So excited to be teaming up with Five Star Extracts to try to help people in need with an exciting and delicious array of cannabis products. Five Star is committed to compassion and their story shows that.”
He also notes that he and Five Star Extracts “hope to kill some of the stigma that has surrounded cannabis for so long.” The first release from this line will be a newer version of their classic flavored syrup tincture “The Taste of Peach.”
The Winkler brothers founded Five Star in 2016. They found that cannabis played a major role in getting their grandfather on his feet and off of pain medicine during his last years of life. Five Star aims to create a positive stigma around the appropriate and responsible use of cannabis products.
This partnership comes just a few weeks before The Used releases their upcoming album Heartwork via Big Noise Records. The full-length record will be available on all streaming platforms on April 24th.
Be sure to follow Five Star Extracts and The Used to keep up with their partnership as well as the upcoming record!
