Out of almost nowhere, Blink-182 fans were filled with joy after seeing Tom DeLonge’s Instagram post about drummer Travis Barker visiting him in his office at To The Stars.
As everyone knows (or if you don’t), Tom has been absent from the band since late January of 2015, having his spot being replaced by Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba. The band has written two studio albums, and are supposedly going to be working on another one in 2018.
Despite the drama, Tom has always stated in the past that he and Travis had been in communication, even Travis himself admitted on Larry King’s television show that they text often and talk about their children, joke around, and occasionally talk about music.
Travis commented an emoji of two men holding hands on the post, accommodating Tom’s hashtag, “#TravisAndTomHoldingHands”. Tom also included in the post writing, ‘And yes Blinkies, we also talked a bit about other stuff. :)”.
Could these be the first steps into a reunion, or is it just more small talk from DeLonge?
