Tonight Alive’s Jenna McDougall debuts her new solo project Hevenshe

By June 12, 2022No Comments

Jenna McDougall is back and better than ever under her new solo project Hevenshe. Tonight Alive had many successes over the years and, after a much-needed hiatus, Jenna is ready to take the world by storm again. Hevenshe allows Jenna to share her emotions in their purest form.

Check out her debut single “No One Will Ever Love You” above!

McDougall shares that the formation of Hevenshe felt “inevitable – like the potential I’ve always had. She was waiting for me. The blueprint was always there.”  Hevenshe (Heaven – she, a mirrored expression of Divine Feminine) provides listeners with the truest, rawest form of McDougall’s emotional, lyrical, and musical capabilities. She is facing the challenges of releasing the project independently with excitement and fearlessness. Jenna says that “The hiatus combined with the pandemic has been a very humbling chapter of my life. It’s reinforced how fragile and temporary everything is. I’m looking forward to cherishing every moment of Hevenshe.”

While her musical style may venture a slightly different path from her previous pop-punk roots, her mission of self-empowerment continues on. “I have always wanted my songs to make a listener feel free, like a weight is being lifted off their heart. If I can alleviate pain or distress for just a moment and provide a soundtrack of liberation for people, I will consider that a great success, maybe more important than any other kind.”

We are so excited to see all that Jenna will accomplish with her solo project Hevenshe!

Keep up with Hevenshe on social media.
